Richard's Studio

Richard Fishman is an interdisciplinary artist who has been active for over 50 years.  Not only does he break boundaries between mediums in his own studio work, he champions innovative research into creativity as head of the Creative Arts Council and Professor of Visual Art at Brown University.  He earned his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA from Tulane.  Among his many professional achievements, he has been awarded fellowships from both the Howard Foundation and the Guggenheim.  View Richard’s Brown University faculty profile here.
